Practical Fire Extinguisher Training

With the introduction of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, this course has been designed to give an understanding of the chemical makeup of a fire and how to control fire risks in the workplace with a practical element in fire safety. All the course candidates, at the end of the course will be able to assist the ‘Responsible Person’ with their statutory requirements. This course will include the practical use of fire extinguishers. Course Certificates will be issued to each candidate.
Using the safest methods available, we provide live fire training at your premises. Using a gas controlled simulator, which is inherently safer than petrol or paper, we can control the level and intensity of the flames and can immediately extinguish the fire, in case of emergencies, by stopping the fuel supply.

If the Client wishes we are now able to add that extra element of realism to our live fire demonstrations by utilizing a smoke generator to fill a room full of smoke that is totally safe and non-toxic, so that participants can experience the difficulties in evacuating rooms when they cannot properly see.

Courses are held for up to 12 delegates at a time, in the clients own premises or at our training venue.

All our trainers are qualified fire fighters and accredited trainers.
